This truck tarp traveled over 1,000,000 miles before it qualified to make the Afroblonde hat. It is now READY FOR ANOTHER MILLION MILES. Recycled from canvas used by trucks & road trains.
Light and air-permeable the Digger hat is much cooler than leather. Water-resistant, crushable, foldable & packable. Excellent sun protection UV50+. Made to withstand the test of travel. Perfect for outdoor activities.

Since we are using different canvases and no canvas is exactly the same in color, thickness and used look (patches, stains, etc.), every hat is unique and has its own character. Love my Renegade / mystery hat, I had to take advantage of the mid season sale, but was a little worried about the colour. I asked if I could have a neutral colour rather than say a red. And yes my sand coloured hat is perfect. It is easy to pack which was my main criteria unlike my Akubra. Wore it for the first time this weekend and the sun protection from the wide brim is awesome. I can’t wait to fold this up and put it a rucksack when we go walking.
This is my second digger. Got 5yrs of hard labour from the first 1. Everywhere I go people ask about my hat and ive had a few friends purchase their own cos they love mine
Comfortable does its job perfectly love it
I love my hat, its served me well. After years of hard work in the pilbara sun it has started to show her age. People are always commenting on it and I have people recognise me from a distance just because of the hat. Have just ordered a brand new 1 so here's to years more memories

Had this hat for about 2 years now. Love it. Take it to Thailand twice a year, gets knocked around and treated like a bush hat should. Takes plenty of punishment. Wear it in the pool, just dunk it and put it back on , cools you down. Lots of comments about it. Definitely recommend.
The grandkids love their Digger hats. Our sons each have one and the kids wanted one each, still have a few to purchase.
2 days Officiating at the SLSA Aussies at North Kirra, Gold Coast, Queensland. The Digger performed perfectly, almost no sunburn and very cool to wear. I am so impressed with this Digger, I've ordered the Wide Brim hat. Both will be travelling with me to the Arctic later this year.

I heard about Afroblonde from a mate a few years ago and decided to buy a digger hat. I’ve since purchased 4 more for my sons and grandchildren. My other grandkids have tried them and now I’ve got another 5 to purchase as they’ve asked for them for their birthdays.

My favourite hat ever It’s so cute and comfortable. We are doing the lap around Australia and I have worn it everyday we have been out and about. It’s now my prized possession not to be too dramatic

This is my second Afro blond digger hat. I still love my original hat which is used for fishing. The old hats eyelets and press studs have all gone rusty. I’m hoping the the the new hat has brass hardware and that I’m hoping not to see any rust stains
Ordered as advised, 1cm up from head measurement and fits perfectly, with just a small amount of room for comfort. Construction is great, packs down nice and small too. Absolutely stoked with it!

My AfroBlonde Digger Hat arrived & is ready to spend the rest of its life here in Tasmania. I absolutely love it & it's a perfect fit too. Great to buy a new hat that's already weathered & worn in looking. I'm a Hat'oholic & already have 3 Akubras, 1 Fedora, 1 Trilby & a Bunnings Straw hat plus a variety of caps. I gave my Brother one. They reside in South Africa and he has a house on a game farm. I think he goes to sleep with the hat!!!

First hat that came smells of Greece but was a great hat anyway so I threw it in washing machine and bought another one it was just as good didn't smell, the first one washed up well and didn't shrink or anything, smell was gone now I have two great hats that I love so a win win,best hat I ever bought

On a sultry summers day in Venice, Italy wetting the afroblinde diggers under a water fountain proved an enjoyable cooling experience. This hat is having a grand time touring the UK and Italy from the Dolomites to Verona to Venice so far.
Hiking the Cadini di Misuarina trail.in the Dolomites, Italy, the hat is fantastic. Dunk it in a stream and the evaporation of the moisture is cooling and refreshing whilst hiking.
This is my second hat as my first one was “stolen by my daughter. She loved it as much as I did. All I know is that this will not be my last hat from Afroblond.
